Lisa discovered I too was a painter and from there it was easy to do business! She came to me with a need to showcase her art in a professional manner where the paintings would get clear attention and be easy for a viewer to browse through. We sat down and brainstormed the most obvious way to do this would to have paintings on a wall in a gallery! Sure, maybe a cliche, but if we could do it in a professional way it doesn’t really matter, some things are always good ideas…like blue jeans. So I discovered a way using jQuery and Javascript to make a gallery of rotating images. This was a gift from css-tricks.com. Chris Coyier has been one of my favorite resources for tips and tricks ever since I found myself in the business. In using moving boxes, I was able to customize the gallery to our liking and the final product was exactly what we had in mind when Lisa and I first talked. A great way to view art!
