Simple and creative web solutions.

Boston Cheese Cellar was in need of a website that was as full-featured as their business is. To do so I brought everything they most cared for visitors to see right to the home page as well as make it as easy as possible to find what they offer. Having their address and contact info in the upper right stands out and is always there for a viewer. The new homepage shows a rotating slideshow of their cheeses, photographed by David Sokol, showing the quality of the cheese in a most desirous light. If one where to click to see more cheeses, they will find a full list of all the varieties, where they come from, how they smell, etc. These are all new features that the old site did not have.
Here is a screenshot of their old site’s homepage. Though it had the general information necessary, it was a pleasure to make a new site that portrays more closely the character of the shop in Roslindale!
“Ben was very patient in working with us on the first professional web site for our cheese shop. We believe he succeeded wonderfully in translating the unique qualities and ambiance of our store into a design suitable for the internet – no easy task! We would highly recommend Ben to anyone seeking a web design partner with both an artistic eye as well as technical experience and capabilities.”
